There isn't a lot to say about this. I did a catamaran speed boat trip from koh tao to koh samui. Litterally waited in the airport most of the day, was very hung over from my last night out at koh tao and celebrating with my mates on being a DM.
The only thing was when I go to board, and go through customs, they confiscate my passport. I am told that I have over stayed since 10th of april. I had to argue with the officials that my visa was a multiple entry lasting for 2 months. I honestly thought I would miss my flight as they kept me waiting. I had cut the time down so I would spend an extra day finishing my divemaster in koh tao, so couldn't aford to get to singapore late.
Anyhow, they eventually let me go, after an hrs wait, and I got the flight to Singapore.
Gosh the airport is so clean at Singapore, its very clinical. But their exit signs are shit.
I met an english girl looking for accomodation, so we decided to share a room. She turned out to be very nice, so we braved the subway to the hotel. Their subways have voice overs all in english, infact everything is in english.
Once we checked our bags in we went for some food, as now nearly 9 o clock. Ooops, I spotted a camera shop selling stuff cheaper than uk. Not as much as it used to be but still cheaper... after several hrs and a very very good salesman I get myself a Video camera... now no exscuses to learn moving imagery. Amy (the english girl) gets a long lens for her camera. At this point its now 11 so we have probs finding somewhere for food, eventually we get some singapore noodles, so at least I ate local food and back to the hotel.
Boy can she talk.
Nothing exciting about the flight to Perth except had to be up at 5.30am and we boarded the plane then had to un board again as their was something wrong with the plane. An hour later we fly to Perth.
