Well I meet Bec and clare outside the youth hostel. Eventually the bus turns up and we go off to the aboriginal centre... which name I can't remeber or pronounce. The group on this trip is all above 50 and some really anoying people.
The show was good. It was basically a rush around the park. We got to see the holographic performance of some of theiream time stories. It was done in a theatre and the graphic effects were prietty awsome. Next we get moved to the dance theatre and watch the same group plus a 7 year old aborigony who joins in. They have a great sense of humour... they take the bush tukka home and use the microwave. That kind of thing. We saw the dance of the kangaroo which was great. The little boy was so cute he kept getting all the moves wrong. The only thing that was off putting was that afterwards they got together and posed with tourists for photographs. It was a bit moneky see moneky do. Didn't like that at all.
After that we go and watch the bush medicine demo. That isn't much to write home about. Followed by boomerang and spears demos. I had a go at the spears and filmed becks and clare on the other.
After that we do the shop bit starving ta this point and get the cable car over the rain forest. Bec and clare are a bit nervous of this especially when we have to change at stations. But then some guys comming in the other direction in the cable car mooned at us so they laughed and felt ok after that. Well we all did.
At the kuranda village we went to an irish pub and had lunch, walked around the shops. Not much there its just prietty and got the train back. We sat to the annoying group from the bus who were x teachers all retired and all we heard was converastions on church and god stuff. Thank god the woman came and told us that carrage 16 was empty would we like to move. Is the pope catholic. Yep we moved thank god to carrage 15 as theer was no 16. We went passed barron falls and filmed that and clare falling asleep on the train.
We went back to clares hostel "up top down under" which was miles outside cairns. Well it felt like that by the walk. We decided as we were all shattered to go to the cinema. We watched dirty dancing 2. The worst bloody film in the world. It has patric swayzee in... why whats the point... he was pathetic and so was the film. I then see them on to the bus to say goodby again.
