Spent a week at nanna's, which involved a first swim, a first bottle,
a first (slightly) solid food (baby rice) and an exciting trip to
Southport.
Swimming was fun. In a giant inflatable ring with a seat. Could be
better once he learns to sit up for longer on his own, rather than
nose-diving head first into the water.
Don't think he's quite figured out what to do with solid food once it
is in his mouth yet. But he's getting there.
Getting much more interested in toys. Likes to grab the octopus off
the baby gym at nanna's, and watches the teddy bear when it plays a
tune at him, so his directional hearing seems to be working ok.
Giving some good signs of being able to crawl some time soon. He can
lift his head fully off the floor now (when he isn't licking it!), and
can push himself up and wave his legs about until he topples over to the
side. Always the same side, though.
